Developer Frontend

We’re looking for Frontend Developers to join us. As a Frontend Developer at Sunny at Sea you’re part of a team of Strategists, Developers, UX and Designers. Together you’ll work to create digital solutions that solve people’s or companies’ everyday problems. This could mean building beautiful websites, mobile apps or e-commerce sites. We always stay up to date with the latest technologies. Something we believe you enjoy doing too.

Develop our own projects

At Sunny we live for creativity. This is the lab where you get to cultivate your own ideas. We set aside time every week to work on our own projects together. In other words, you don’t need to quit your hobby projects just because you start working here. You just get paid whilst doing so.

Renowned clients

At Sunny at Sea you’ll be working with some of Sweden’s most distinguished brands – Absolut Vodka, Google, Rörstrand and Spendrups to name a few. Expectations will be high, but rewards will be higher.

Work the world

We know inspiration (or fun) don’t come from spending all the time at the office. Every once in a while we move the office, or ourselves at least, to work at a new location. The latest fieldtrip went to New York. The next one will go to Copenhagen, and then Tokyo.

Who are you?

  • At least a few years of work experience within web development using HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript
  • Experience working with WordPress-themes and custom made plugins
  • Knowledge in modern frameworks such as Angular, Webpack, SASS and React
  • Relevant education or equivalent skill set
  • Web standards from W3C and WAI

  • Experience from native app development for iOS in Objective-C or Swift

About Sunny at Sea

Sunny at Sea was founded in 2011 and has 10 employees. We’re problem solvers, innovators, strategists, developers and designers. We’re the small agency for big clients.

To us, user experience is everything. It can start anywhere, at any time. That’s why our work cover all potential user experience touch points, ranging from digital to physical, from product packaging design to digital platforms or wayfinding systems. Sometimes it even results in a new product.

We spend some of our days in our bright office at Kungsholmen. Other days, we spend on the field, in coffee shops, or in Tokyo. We work, work out, plan, play, design, talk, develop, research, think and travel. Hope to see you soon!
